BEEF CURRY IN VIETNAMESE STYLE

Ingredients

Beef brisket 500 g cut into pieces, Potato 1 about 200 g cut into pieces, Onion ½ cut into pieces, Chopped shallot 1 tbsp, Chopped lemon grass 2 tsp, Coconut milk 125 ml Thai parsley for garnish

Mae ploy Chili Garlic Sauce 2 tsp

Mae Ploy Chilli Oil 1 tsp [optional]

Mae Ploy Red Curry Sauce 2 tbsp


Seasoning Mix 

Cooking Method

1. Cook beef brisket in boiling water for about 2 hours. Drain.

2. Deep-fry or pan-fry potato in hot oil until golden yellow. Drain.

3. Any Curry Sauce in stock in The Thai way, Chili Garlic Sauce, chopped shallot

and lemon grass in 2 tbsp oil over low heat until fragrant. Add seasoning mix,

beef brisket, water and bring to the boil. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes

or until beef brisket is tender.

4. Add potato, onion and cook for about 10 minutes until sauce thickens. Stir in

Chili Oil, coconut milk and heat through. Sprinkle with Thai parsley.

served with fresh French bread.
